About the Role
We are delighted to be recruiting for an experienced CNC Turner to join our team in Alexandria. This is a hard role to fill, and we are looking for a highly capable individual who can operate, set, and program CNC turning machines and work confidently on their own initiative.
Operate, set, and program CNC turning machines using Fanuc control
Programming carried out at the machine (not offline/CAM-based)
Work on Doosan CNC lathes
Use live tooling, including C-axis and Y-axis capability
Machine precision components to engineering drawings and tight tolerances
Carry out full tool setting, offset setting, and programme prove-outs
Perform first-off and in-process inspection using precision measuring equipment
Maintain high standards of quality, safety, and housekeeping
Work independently with minimal supervision
Essential Requirements
Minimum 10 years' experience as a CNC Turner
Strong experience with Fanuc-controlled machines (various Fanuc models in use)
Proven ability to operate, set, and program on the machine
Confident programming at the machine
Experience using live tooling with C & Y axis
Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings
Self-motivated and able to work on own initiative
