We are seeking for experienced Surface Mount Production Operator to join our client based in Leicester. They are electronics manufacturing company.\n\nThe working hours are 7:30 until 4pm Monday to Friday with 2 x 10 min breaks and a 30 minute lunch break.\n\n22 days holiday plus bank holidays but we shut down at Christmas so between 3 & 5 days of the 22 are allocated to this each year.\n\nFree Parking is available on site\n\nRoles and responsibilities;\n\n * Operate and maintain Surface Mount Assembly equipment\n\n * Operate and maintain Solder Reflow equipment\n\n * Produce programmes for Pick & Place derived from customer supplied information\n\n * Programme, Operate and Maintain Selective Conformal Coating equipment\n\n * Hand placement of surface mount devices\n\n * A.O.I inspection of PCB assemblies\n\n * Maintain a clean and organized work environment\n\nSkills required;\n\n * experience in assembly in a production based role\n\n * proficiency in use of computers\n\n * strong attention to detail and commitment to equality\n\n * knowledge of electronic parts, Component packages, PCB Handling, ESD Best Practise and soldering skills are essential\n\n * Ability to interpret drawings and Bill of Materials\n\n * Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team\n\n * Awareness of IPC-A-610 standard
