The Opportunity
We’re looking for a capable and ambitious individual to join our London team as a Commercial Manager. This is a great opportunity for someone currently working in a commercial role who’s ready to step up and take on more responsibility.
You’ll be supported by an experienced team while gaining exposure to the full commercial lifecycle — from early-stage cost planning and procurement through to delivery and final account. What You’ll Be Doing
Contract Management
* Lead all commercial aspects of our design & build projects
* Negotiate and manage contracts with clients, suppliers, and subcontractors
* Ensure compliance with contractual obligations and mitigate commercial risks
Cost Management
* Implement cost control measures and monitor project expenditure
* Maintain clear oversight of budgets, forecasts, and cash flow
* Provide regular and accurate commercial reporting to senior leadership
Risk Management
* Identify and manage commercial and contractual risks
* Proactively address issues and develop risk mitigation strategies
* Support teams to resolve challenges efficiently and professionally
Client & Stakeholder Engagement
* Serve as the key commercial point of contact for clients
* Maintain strong relationships and ensure clear, open communication throughout the project lifecycle
* Manage expectations and contribute to client satisfaction
Team Collaboration
* Work closely with Project Managers, Designers and the wider Delivery team
* Offer commercial guidance and help resolve disputes where needed
* Contribute to a collaborative, solutions-focused team environment
Legal & Regulatory Compliance
* Keep up to date with relevant construction legislation and industry standards
* Ensure that all commercial activities remain compliant and professionally executed
About You
* Proven experience within the Design & Build or wider commercial fit-out sector
* Proven experience working as a Commercial Manager (ideally 5+ years)
* Experience of running your own projects with a certain level of autonomy
* Strong contractual knowledge
* Excellent negotiation, communication, and analytical skills
* Highly organised, with strong attention to detail
* Ambitious and proactive, with a desire to take ownership and grow in the role
