Role Overview
A Warehouse Operative is required to join a busy frozen food distribution operation. This is a hands-on role with the majority of duties carried out within a freezer and refrigerated environment.
Full protective and thermal clothing will be provided. Previous experience working in freezer or chilled environments is essential.
Key Responsibilities
1. Picking and packing frozen products accurately
2. Working primarily within freezer and refrigerated areas
3. Loading and unloading stock safely
4. Maintaining a clean, safe and organized work area
5. Following all health & safety and temperature-control procedures
6. Assisting with general warehouse duties as required
Requirements
7. Previous experience working in a freezer or refrigerated warehouse
8. Comfortable working in sub-zero temperatures for extended periods
9. Physically fit and able to carry out manual handling tasks
10. Good attention to detail and accuracy
11. Reliable, punctual and able to work as part of a team
12. Computer Literacy
