* Liaise with other agencies and signpost patients to services like housing and employment
You must have either a Postgraduate Certificate in Low Intensity CBT with IAPT PWP status or an MSci Applied Psychology (Clinical) qualification to apply for this post.
The post-holder will work within the IAPT service, providing high-volume low-intensity interventions, including cognitive behavioural therapy (CBT) based self-management support for clients with mild to moderate anxiety and depression.
Responsibilities include:
* Accepting referrals via service protocols
* Assessing and supporting people with common mental health problems in managing their recovery
* Providing information and support for evidence-based psychological treatments, such as guided self-help, computerised CBT, and courses, delivered face-to-face, by phone, or other media
Employment requires an Enhanced DBS check, which the Trust will cover. Applicants subscribed to the DBS update service can present a valid certificate instead of a new check.
Applicants needing current Skilled Worker sponsorship are ineligible.
