The position
A strong team player who is passionate about driving improvement working within the Employee Success (ES) team. You will enjoy increasing
leaders awareness and understanding, as well as being a proactive change agent; continuously reviewing how we can learn from our
experiences; making things better, every day.
You will be experienced in a diverse range of employee relations case management, always looking at embedding high performance through
leaders and employees. Involvement in projects is key and you will work collaboratively across the ES team, providing insight and reporting to
drive the people agenda within the business. No day is a dull day; you will enjoy daily communication with employees and leaders.
Success will be contributing to the overall Employee Success team and assisting with achieving the objectives to drive the people agenda
within the business.
You will be part of an Adviser team and work closely with your colleagues across the wider team.
You will be confident in managing multiple cases as an ER specialist, balancing priorities and keeping key stakeholders up to date.
Key accountabilities and responsibilities:
Day-to-day, you will…
1. Case management:
• Provide support, management and guidance to leaders on all aspects of ER Tier 1, 2 & 3 ; performance
management, absence, capability, grievance, disciplinary, investigation, appeals etc.
Having a good handle on wellbeing tools and processes. Sensitively supporting our leaders in diversity & inclusion matters.
• Escalating complex and high-risk cases to ES Team Lead, coming with a solution driven attitude.
• Embed a high-performance culture within the cases and conversations you have with leaders.
• Work with ES Senior Advisers, ES Business Partner's and In House Legal Counsel with restructures and exits up to Management level
(settlement agreements inc. shares).
• Use effective coaching and questions to identify opportunities to improve leader learning and resolve issues before they become a
concern.
• Act as a trusted adviser to leaders and provide general guidance and support.
• Carry out reporting requests on HR metrics including board level reporting.
• Support associate ES Advisers.

2/ Projects:
• Be the Adviser coordinator or support for performance and structure/process related change projects, reporting to the ES Team
Lead/ ES Manager or associated sponsor (ES Business Partner, ES Manager, Head of ES or [title for programme lead]):
o You will be able to take responsibility of key deliverables, including reporting requests.
o Create training on key topics.
o Work to deadlines to support speedy delivery.
o Understand the importance of communication to key stakeholders.
o Draft global comms, with appropriate sign off.
3/ World-class EX:
• Develop well rounded ER leaders using the network of leaders who have signed up, tracking their experience, strengths and
development opportunities.
• Ensuring we have standardised processes that provide consistency and effective ER case management, providing operational
excellence with the experience in mind at all times (letters, leader guidance, contact points, support).
• Taking a proactive and collaborative approach with peers to get a rounded view and support on best practice, outcomes and
recommendations. Actively giving and seeking feedback to continually improve, understands input from others is helpful and leads
to better outcomes.
• Work with ES Business Partners and ES Team Lead to build and consistently deliver educational and practical workshops to leaders.
Producing training for key milestones of the year - P2G, ESP's and annual salary reviews.
• Consider trends to identify reactive and pro-active actions to support employees and leaders.
Skills, knowledge, experience & qualifications
• Currently working at a HR Adviser level with experience of working within a fast-paced environment (ideally technology).
• Hands on employment relation experience across all aspects of HR.
• Be able to coach, guide and influence leaders on any employment matters – particularly challenging situations or that has the
potential to have a wider impact.
• Be confident in building solid relationships based on credibility and rapport allowing you to coach and influence Leaders.
• Know that the detail, communication and delivery of your work has an impact on employees, leaders, your team and other key
stakeholders – a strong ability to think about your customers experience.
• Be responsible and own your work, seeing things through and considering any potential impact on others.
• A true generalist, you're happy juggling multiple priorities; you use your intuition to know what's important and what can wait.
• Comfortable with a common-sense HR culture; you'll know when to use your judgement instead of a policy.
• A commitment to self-development and lifelong learning.
• Prepared to go outside of your comfort zone and be ready to fail fast, it's the best way to grow.
