Their Outsourcing & Tax teams are expanding due to the rollout of Making Tax Digital for Income Tax (MTD IT), and they're now creating a brand new leadership role to build and scale a centralised service line.This is a practice that invests heavily in its people, embraces digital tools, and genuinely supports progression. Your new role
As Outsourcing Senior Manager (MTD for Income Tax), you'll spearhead the design and delivery of a new service model covering quarterly reporting, digital recordkeeping and final declarations under MTD IT.Key areas include:
Designing and implementing a scalable, centralised outsourcing service for MTD IT
Building workflows, pricing models, team structures and digital processes
Leading client communication, onboarding and digital transformation (Xero & Landmark)
Migrating clients away from manual systems to compliant digital solutions
Recruiting and managing a delivery team as the service grows
Working closely with the Tax team to align quarterly data with year end tax positions
Important: This is not an IT/technology role."IT" here refers solely to Income Tax - this is a qualified accountancy/tax outsourcing role, not a systems or infrastructure post.
What you'll need to succeed
You'll be a commercially and operationally strong outsourcer with a genuine passion for tax led digital transformation.Essential:
ACA or ACCA qualified
Strong income tax knowledge, ideally including MTD IT
Background in outsourcing / accounts / finance operations within practice
Experience designing processes, workflows or new service lines
Confident communicator with proven commercial acumen
Comfortable leading teams and driving change
