Rate: £20 - £21Key Responsibilities
1. Operating a forklift (typically Counterbalance or Telescopic/Telehandler) on a live construction site
2. Transporting materials safely across site (bricks, timber, pallets, etc.)
3. Loading and unloading deliveries from suppliers
4. Supporting trades by ensuring timely delivery of materials
5. Conducting daily pre-use checks and reporting defects
6. Maintaining a safe and tidy working area
7. Adhering strictly to site health & safety regulations at all times
Requirements
8. Valid forklift ticket (CPCS/NPORS – Telehandler preferred for housing sites)
9. Proven experience working as a Forklift Driver on construction sites
10. Good understanding of site safety protocols
11. Ability to work well with site managers, labourers, and trades
12. Reliable, punctual, and safety-focused approach
Desirable
13. Previous experience on residential/housing developments
14. PPE (Hard hat, high-vis, safety boots)
15. CSCS Card (if required alongside forklift certification)
