We are proud to be working in partnership with our client in their search for an experienced and dedicated Registered Manager for a children's residential home based in Frome.
As the Registered Manager, you will be responsible for the overall management of the home, ensuring it delivers high-quality, child-centred care in line with all statutory requirements, safeguarding legislation, and Ofsted standards. You will lead by example to foster a safe, nurturing, and supportive environment where children and young people can thrive and achieve their full potential.

Registered Manager Required Experience & Qualifications
* Level 5 Diploma in Leadership and Management for Residential Childcare (or willingness to complete within a defined timeframe)
* A minimum of 2 years' experience working in a residential childcare setting within the last 5 years
* At least 1 year in a supervisory or management role within a children’s residential home
* Comprehensive knowledge of safeguarding, child protection legislation, and Ofsted regulatory frameworks
* Ability to meet the criteria for Ofsted registration as a Registered Manager
Registered Manager Key Responsibilities
* Lead the day-to-day operations of the home, ensuring the highest standards of care and compliance are maintained
* Achieve and maintain Good or Outstanding ratings from Ofsted
* Recruit, lead, support, and develop a skilled and motivated staff team
* Foster a positive and inclusive home environment where children feel safe, supported, and valued
* Maintain compliance with all safeguarding and child protection procedures
* Oversee care planning and the delivery of individualised, outcome-focused support for each child
* Liaise effectively with social workers, education providers, healthcare professionals, and families
* Monitor outcomes and promote the emotional, physical, and educational development of all children in the home
* Ensure full regulatory compliance, including preparing and submitting notifications and reports to Ofsted
* Maintain and regularly review all policies, procedures, and risk assessments
* Manage the home’s budget and resources effectively and responsibly
