This role is in support of Cencora's wholesale distribution services in Europe operating through our Alliance Healthcare business.
Job Purpose:
We have a requirement for a Goods In Operative who has Counterbalance FLT experience. To cover holidays, breaks and sickness on a counterbalance FLT, ensure all incoming stock is accurately received and checked, correct information recorded and its safe transportation to the relevant area. Processing orders ready to be put to the picking locations.
Counterbalance FLT Driver/Goods In Operative
Location: LS11 0LR
Days of week :
Monday - Friday
Rate Of Pay: £12.40 per hour + FLT allowance when driving the truck
Working hours 0500-1300 37.5 hours per week
Key Accountabilities
Operating Standards: Achieving the agreed productivity level. Accounting for all incoming stock, ensuring the following procedures are applied. Out of stocks lists are checked and items prioritised on receipt. Checking product description and pack size is correct. Checking product for damage and expiry date. Counting product and accurately recording on paperwork. Passing completed paperwork to Goods In Office. Reporting to Team Leader any other matters or queries. Ensuring housekeeping standards for inside and outside bays are always maintained. Ensuring all Health & Safety standards are met. Awareness of company security by ensuring all delivery drivers wait outside. To carry out any reasonable requests by branch management.
Knowledge, Skills and Experience Required :
Essential :
High Visual Accuracy
Good verbal communication skills
Basic written communication skills
Basic Numeracy and Literacy
Customer care
Desirable:
Any previous experience of working in a warehouse environment would be highly desirable.
MANUAL HANDLING
It should be noted that manual handling tasks such as lifting and bending are "essential requirements" of this role.
