Class 1 Shunter - Peterborough | Monday to Saturday | Long-term work
We're currently seeking an experienced Class 1 Shunter Driver to work for a busy transport operation in Peterborough. This is a regular, long-term position offering excellent rates of pay and consistent night shifts.
The Role:
* Shunting trailers safely and efficiently around the yard
* Working as part of a busy night operation
* Carrying out vehicle checks and ensuring trailers are positioned correctly
* Communicating with the transport team to maintain a smooth flow of work
Shift Details:
* Start: 22:00pm
* Finish: 06:45am
* Days: Monday to Saturday
Pay Rates:
* £15.28 per hour for the first 12 weeks
* £19.08 per hour after 12 weeks
Requirements:
* Valid Class 1 (C+E) licence
* CPC and Digi Tacho Card
* Previous shunting experience is highly desirable
* Good communication and safety awareness
