Salary: £80,000 - 90,000 per year Requirements: Proven experience as a Senior Product Manager / Lead Product Manager Strong track record operating in process-driven, regulated environments Deep understanding of Agile delivery, governance, and delivery control Excellent experience working closely with software engineering teams Commercially astute, balancing value, risk, compliance, and speed Energy sector experience is a must (anywhere on the Energy Supply chain) Responsibilities: Acting as the primary senior liaison between business leaders and the engineering team Owning and evolving the product vision, roadmap, backlog, and delivery priorities Translating strategic objectives into clear, structured user stories, acceptance criteria, and Jira artifacts Defining and running delivery cadence, including sprint planning, backlog refinement, reviews, and governance Partnering with Engineering to manage dependencies, delivery risk, and change control Owning QA and release readiness processes, ensuring consistent production quality Ensuring products meet commercial objectives, energy-sector regulations, and internal standards Driving continuous improvement of product and delivery processes, tooling, and ways of working Challenging scope creep, enforcing prioritization, and introducing structure where delivery starts to drift Technologies: JIRA Product Manager More: We are an established leader in the Energy sector currently in a sustained growth phase, based in Newcastle with a hybrid working model.
