Hours: Part time to help the team cover 24/7 which will include some weekend work.

Hourly rate: £11.50 per hour (age related national minimum wage). Enhanced hourly rate for Bank Holidays.
Holidays: 5.6 weeks per annum pro rata.
Position Overview: We are looking for a female personal assistant to help care for our elderly mum who has frailty and various health problems, to work within a small team offering 24/7 care and support.
The family and dedicated PAs support mum for all her activities of daily living and to enhance her quality of life. Mum lives in her own property and requires 24-hour assistance for washing, dressing, toileting, eating, medication, and activities.
Care Structure: Care is provided on a rota system agreed in advance with flexibility required including overnight and weekend work, but we work together to support each other’s work/life balance. Basic update training will be provided, but evidence of previous care experience of at least 3 months within the U.K. is essential. Possible shifts and detailed care requirements can be discussed prior to and or during an interview.
Working Conditions: Single-handed care but an on-call system is in place for second carer support when required.
Occupational Requirement: There is a genuine occupational requirement for the holder of this post to be male/female in accordance with the Health and Social Care Act 2008 (Regulated Activities) Regulations 2014 and Equality Act 2010 schedule 9 paragraphs 1 – 4.
