A well-established and highly regarded nursery in Toxteth (L8) is seeking to appoint a Nursery Nurse from March 2026 onwards. The nursery provides high‑quality early years education and care for children aged 1–4, offering a nurturing and inclusive environment designed to support every child’s development and early learning journey.

Role Overview
As a Nursery Nurse, you will play a key role in creating a safe, stimulating, and engaging environment for children in the nursery's care. Working closely with a dedicated team, you will support learning, encourage social interaction, and promote children’s overall well-being. Your creativity, enthusiasm, and passion for early years development will help ensure a positive experience for both children and their families.

Key Responsibilities
* Plan and deliver age‑appropriate activities that promote physical, social, and cognitive development.
* Provide personalised care to meet each child’s individual needs.
* Create a warm, welcoming, and inclusive environment that supports positive relationships.
* Observe, monitor, and record children’s progress, behaviour, and development.
* Maintain a safe, clean, and organised classroom environment in line with health and safety standards.
* Work collaboratively with colleagues to develop and implement curriculum plans.
* Communicate effectively with parents, keeping them informed about their child’s progress, daily activities, and any concerns.

Requirements
* NVQ Level 3 in Childcare or an equivalent recognised qualification.
* Previous experience working in a nursery or early years setting.
* Strong understanding of early childhood development and best practice.
* Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
* A caring, patient, and professional approach, with a genuine passion for working with children.
* Ability to work effectively as part of a team.
* Basic first aid and safeguarding training (desirable).
