'Professional Requirements
-The position is offered to a GDC registered UK trained qualified Dental Nurse with a minimum of one year experience in UK dental practice although consideration will also be given to a newly qualified candidate.
-Comprehensive knowledge of infection control protocols and CQC requirements
-Excellent communication skills and patient-centred approach
-Knowledge of Dental Implants, Orthodontic and Dento-alveolar surgical procedures will be a recommendation but training will be provided in the absence of such knowledge
Key Responsibilities
-Provide chairside assistance to dentists during a wide range of clinical clinical procedures
-Manage sterilisation processes and clinical inventory
-Support patient care and education with an empathetic and compassionate approach
-Assist with radiographic examination
-Assist with Intraoral 3D photographic scanning
-Maintain cleanliness of all aspects the surgery and the decontamination room
-Maintain accurate patient records using computer systems
-Willingness to support reception and administrative duties as needed.
-Eagerness to learn and study new techniques.
