Are you a passionate and experienced HR professional looking for an opportunity to make a difference in an HR role in a values-led, people-focused organisation? Early Years Scotland is seeking a dedicated HR Adviser to lead and support the full employee lifecycle, blending operational excellence with the strategic insight to contribute meaningfully.
Responsibilities
* Develop and implement effective HR policies and procedures which reflect our culture while remaining legally compliant.
* Manage employee relations, including conflict resolution and disciplinary matters ensuring legal compliance.
* Lead and manage the recruitment and selection process. Coordinate and deliver engaging induction and onboarding for new team members.
* Provide clear, supportive guidance on HR-related queries.
Qualifications
* We are looking for an enthusiastic HR professional with proven track record in a similar role. You should also have:
* Good working knowledge of UK employment legislation and HR best practice.
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
* Integrity, professionalism and evidence of the ability to work confidentially and maintain confidentiality at all times.
* Proficiency in HR software and Microsoft Office.
* A resourceful, proactive, adaptable, and solution-focused mindset.
* Eagerness to learn, grow, and continuously improve.
* Excellent attention to detail and the ability to manage competing priorities.
