The Role
You will teach engaging and inclusive music lessons across Key Stages 3 to 5, including GCSE and A-Level. Your lessons will support both academic progress and student confidence, while fostering a love of language and culture.
Key Responsibilities
* Plan and deliver creative, adaptive lessons that promote strong outcomes
* Develop a curriculum that is both rigorous and inspiring
* Track student progress and provide feedback through regular assessment
* Build positive relationships with students, families, and the wider staff team
* Contribute to trips and activities that enrich the curriculum
* Uphold safeguarding, behaviour, and wellbeing standards across the school
Who We're Looking For
* A degree in a relevant subject and QTS
* Proven ability to raise attainment, particularly with students requiring additional support
* Experience planning and teaching secondary music
* Excellent behaviour management and adaptable teaching strategies
* Strong communication, resilience, and a commitment to continuous development
