VACANCIES
Due to ongoing expansion, we have a vacancy within our Orkney Seawater Engineering Department.
This is an exciting opportunity to join a team that's open to fresh ideas and keen to energise the corporate brand and profile of one of Scotland's leading aquaculture companies.
THE ROLE
This role combines time at college with on the job experience alongside our experienced Engineering team, during which time you will be working towards achieving a National Certificate in Engineering. Your time will be split between working with our engineers and fabricators, where you will assist with overhauls, repairs and maintenance on the Company's workboats, feed barges and machinery, as well as contribute to new projects. The role will allow you to gain experience and skills across all aspects of Engineering, while also working closely with our electricians and joiners on larger projects such as fitting out workboats.
SKILLS REQUIRED
Candidates must demonstrate flexibility with working hours and days, and be reliable team players who can also work independently when needed. Strong interpersonal skills and excellent communication abilities are essential for success in this role.
