At ROLI, we’re making music creation more accessible. As Senior UX/UI Designer for the Learn App, you’ll contribute to the design vision for our music-learning platform, crafting engaging, intuitive, and visually compelling experiences that inspire creativity worldwide.
Your Purpose
You’ll translate user needs and product goals into seamless journeys and polished interfaces for the ROLI Learn App. By combining creativity with usability, you’ll define how learners interact with our platform and contribute to the future of music making.
Your Responsibilities
* You deliver intuitive, user-centered designs for the Learn App, from concept to polished, production-ready UI.
* You translate product requirements into flows, wireframes, prototypes, and high-fidelity designs.
* You collaborate with product managers and engineers to ensure solutions are technically feasible and aligned with roadmap priorities.
* You introduce and maintain scalable design systems, ensuring consistency and efficiency across the app.
* You conduct user testing and research to validate design decisions and continuously improve the user experience.
* You advocate for design best practices, fostering a culture of creativity and usability across the team.
Who We’re Looking For
* Proven experience (5+ years) designing user interfaces for mobile and interactive applications.
* You’ve delivered interactive app designs at scale, ideally in gaming, music, or creative technology.
* You ideally have a track record of delivering AR experiences, with a deep understanding of how spatial design changes user interaction patterns.
* You are confident in Figma (or similar), with strong skills in prototyping, component libraries, and design systems.
* You understand mobile platform guidelines (iOS and Android) and know how to design for technical feasibility.
* You thrive in collaborative, agile teams, working closely with product and engineering.
* You’re a strong communicator, able to advocate for user-centered design at every stage.
* You’re passionate about design, technology, and ideally, music or creative tools.
It’s music to our ears if:
* You have familiarity with Unity or gamification frameworks.
