To support our strategic growth, we are seeking a Junior Contract Manager for our Manchester Office.
Candidate Profile:
* Bachelor’s Degree (Engineering/Technical, Law, or Economics preferred)
* Proficient in English (verbal and written)
* Strong PC skills: Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook)
* 2-3 years of contract administration experience
* Hybrid work model (50/50), with periodic site travel
* Minimum 3 years’ experience in a similar role or procurement background; experience with large engineering and construction projects is an advantage

Responsibilities:
1. Contract Management
* Understanding of tender procedures
* Preparing tender packages and ensuring compliance with internal procedures
* Participating in commercial discussions and recording meeting minutes
* Contract and purchase order preparation and follow-up
* Reporting tender progress
1. Order Management
* Review and create requisitions for planned orders
* Maintain and update purchase orders, ensuring compliance with agreements
2. Contract and Business Document Preparation and Review
3. Contract Administration and Payments Management
4. Maintaining relationships with management, clients, and vendors
5. Project Controls
* Participate in project meetings and document actions
* Support document formatting and project progress tracking
* Identify efficiency opportunities
* Maintain project documentation and controls registers
6. Document Control
* Ensure project documents comply with numbering systems and are properly archived
* Control and audit project documentation across multiple projects
* Maintain records and perform administrative tasks as needed
