Pertemps are proud to be recruiting on behalf of Royal Mail, supporting their seasonal operations in Northern Ireland. We’re looking for dedicated Mail Sorters to join busy distribution centres. This is a vital role to ensure parcels, letters, and packages reach homes and businesses across the UK during a high-demand period.
Key Responsibilities
* Sort and scan letters and parcels accurately by hand and machine.
* Load/unload mail sacks, trays and trolleys (may weigh up to 11kg).
* Move cages and trolleys throughout the sorting warehouse.
Requirements
* Physically fit and able to work in a fast-paced warehouse environment.
* Comfortable with prolonged periods of standing, walking, and lifting.
* Flexible to work weekday/weekend shifts and possible overtime.
* Must pass a standard criminal record check (DBS).
* Right to work in the UK.
Other Information:
* Working Hours: Shifts patterns are 07:00-14:00, 15:00-18:00/22:00, 22:00-06:00
* Pay Rate: £12.54, £13.18/13.80, £15.11.
* Duration of Assignment: Ongoing ad hop work.
* Start Date: ASAP
