Ideal for Graduates
If you are considering a PGCE or QTS, working as a Cover Supervisor or Teaching Assistant is an excellent way to gain classroom experience, develop behaviour management skills, and build confidence before teacher training.
Candidate Requirements
To register, applicants must:
* Hold a relevant UK qualification or a verified overseas equivalent
* Have the legal right to work in the UK
* Be committed to safeguarding children and young people
* Successfully complete all safer recruitment and compliance checks
Overseas Applicants
If you have lived outside the UK in the last five years, you will usually need an Overseas Police Clearance Certificate.
If your qualifications were gained overseas, you may also need:
* A UK ENIC Statement of Comparability
* Certified English translations of documents (if applicable)

DBS & Safeguarding
