The role:
We have an exciting opportunity to join our clients Leeds office as a Manager. This is an ideal opportunity for a current Manager or someone looking to take the next step in their accountancy career.
As a Manager, you will play a vital role in overseeing client relationships, managing a team, and driving the firm’s strategic goals.
Key responsibilities include:
1. Managing a portfolio of clients, providing high quality accounting, tax and advisory services.
2. Leading and mentoring a team of accountants, ensuring their development and performance.
3. Contributing to business development, identifying opportunities for growth.
4. Overseeing compliance and ensuring exceptional client service.
The successful candidate:
Qualifications and Experience:
5. ACA or ACCA qualified with a strong background in practice (ideally 3+ years PQE) as an experienced Senior Accountant/Manager.
6. Must be able to actively manage own workloads and take responsibility for own and team members development.
7. Ambition to step into a management role and a clear vision for your career progression.
8. Must possess strong IT skills (Office 365, Sage, Xero, QuickBooks etc.)
9. Must be fully adept with accounts preparation programs, preferably IRIS
10. Proven ability in managing a portfolio of mixed clients, and business development in an environment where the emphasis was on accounts, tax and advisory work is a must.
