Due to continued growth in our Manchester office, we are seeking a qualified Corporate Audit Senior Associate to join our Audit & Assurance team.
The Opportunity
This role is ideal for a newly qualified or experienced Audit Senior looking to further develop their career within a dynamic and growing team.
You will work with a varied portfolio of clients including corporate organisations, owner-managed businesses, charities and not-for-profit organisations, and clients ranging from start-ups through to established and listed entities.
You will work alongside experienced Partners and Managers in a supportive and collaborative environment. The role offers strong progression opportunities and exposure to both audit and advisory engagements.
Key Responsibilities
Client & Technical Responsibilities:
* Lead the delivery of audit assignments from planning through to completion
* Act as the first point of contact for clients on a day-to-day basis
* Prepare high-quality audit work and reporting for Manager and Partner review
* Identify risks and technical matters, providing clear solutions and recommendations
* Monitor progress against budget and report variances
* Prepare and present Audit Findings Reports
* Identify business improvement opportunities for clients
* Contribute to business development initiatives
Team & Leadership Responsibilities:
* Lead and coach junior team members
* Provide on-the-job training in audit methodology and technical skills
* Promote a positive, collaborative team environment
* Provide and receive constructive feedback
* Contribute to wider office and firm-wide initiatives
Requirements
* ACA / ACCA / CA qualified (essential)
* Strong audit and accounting experience, ideally including UK GAAP
* Good working knowledge of Microsoft Office, particularly Excel
* Strong written and verbal communication skills
* Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities
* Ability to manage audit fieldwork and liaise effectively across departments
* A proactive, client-focused mindset
