A pioneering social wellness and performance space in London is seeking an exceptional Recovery Programme Manager to lead the design, delivery and management of innovative recovery programmes, contrast therapy experiences and community-led wellness activations. This is a hands-on, programme leadership role for someone passionate about performance, human optimisation and modern recovery. We're looking for a leader who understands that connection, science-backed recovery and restoration are as vital as training itself. You’ll be responsible for creating world-class recovery experiences that fuses science, social connection, and accessibility - something that's becoming an ever more important cultural ritual for the modern athlete competing in the likes of Hyrox, Triathlons and Marathons. This first-of-its-kind space will be opening in SW London next year and The Founder is looking to engage a Recovery Programme Manager to lead the development of signature recovery programmes that support the modern day athlete with their training goals and help shape the direction of the business. The ideal candidate for this role will come from a science-based background (ideally up to Masters level), and will have a deep understanding how recovery techniques impact the body, as they will be responsible for creating a series of recovery programmes for a range of every-day athletes. We are looking for someone who has lived and breathed the kind of physical experience this facility is catering for, so completing in marathons, triathlons and Hyrox races is extremely desirable. Responsibilities: Recovery Programme Leadership: Define and deliver a cutting-edge recovery programme that integrates contrast therapy, mobility, compression systems, and guided recovery classes that aligns to specific performance goals of everyday athletes. Develop themed recovery experiences (e.g. post-event resets or immersive social sessions) that drive engagement and retention. Collaborate with leadership to align recovery offerings with the brand’s ethos: performance, connection, and enjoyment. Keep abreast of emerging trends and technology in sports recovery, wellness, and bio-optimisation. Facilitator & Team Management Recruit, train, and lead a team of recovery facilitators and coaches to deliver exceptional member experiences. Build strong relationships with wellness practitioners, sports therapists, and brand partners to raise awareness. Implement facilitator training standards, session protocols, and safety procedures across all recovery experiences. Once the space has opened, teach a range of recovery classes and set the standard for great member experiences across all member experiences. Leverage you networks and industry contacts to maximise outreach and participant engagement. Programme Evaluation & Reporting Develop methods for assessing facilitator performance and programme success. Collect feedback from participants, track attendance and engagement, and report weekly to leadership. Use data-driven insights to enhance programming, improve experiences, and inform strategic decision-making. Ongoing Support: Once the space has opened, there will be flexible opportunity to grow into multiple areas of the business for the right candidate. These could include, but are not limited to: Oversee the production and smooth execution of events and brand partnership activations, ensuring every experience is immersive, inclusive, and transformative. Work with the marketing team to develop promotional strategies that resonate with audiences seeking fitness, personal growth, and mindful connection. Support with the smooth running of the space, which could include timetabling, facility management and recruiting a team. The Person: Deeply passionate about recovery for everyday athletes competing in events such as Hyrox, marathons, triathlons etc. Minimum L3 qualified with a strong understanding on how recovery impacts athletic performance. Sports Science degree as a minimum and strong understanding of how recovery impacts the body. Experience as a physiotherapist is desirable. Strong operational and organisational skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects and events simultaneously. Exceptional interpersonal skills, with experience building and maintaining relationships with instructors, partners, and collaborators. Hands-on, proactive, and adaptable, with a passion for delivering immersive, high-quality experiences. Creative thinker with the ability to innovate and design programming that resonates with diverse audiences. Comfortable leading teams, training contrast therapy facilitators, and being present on the ground during events. Tech-savvy with experience using CRM systems, scheduling platforms, and reporting tools. Passionate about wellness, movement, and creating meaningful community experiences.
