Head of Ecommerce & Marketing, Leigh, £50,000 - 60,000 DOE + bonus
We’re looking for a commercially driven Head of Ecommerce & Marketing to lead digital growth across B2B and B2C channels. This is a brand new key leadership role for someone who can set strategy, stay hands‑on, and directly impact revenue, customer acquisition and retention.
The role
You’ll own the end-to-end ecommerce and digital marketing strategy — from website performance and CRO through to SEO, paid media, social, affiliates and CRM.
Managing a small team, you’ll translate commercial goals into practical campaigns that increase traffic, conversions and lifetime value while strengthening brand presence in a competitive market.
Key responsibilities
* Lead ecommerce and digital marketing strategy aligned to growth targets
* Optimise website performance, UX and conversion rates
* Oversee SEO, PPC, paid social, content, affiliates and partnerships
* Develop CRM and email strategies to drive retention and reactivation
* Manage budgets, track ROI and report on performance
* Build strong supplier/brand marketing partnerships
* Lead and develop a small, high‑performing marketing team
About you
* Strong commercial mindset with a track record of revenue growth
* Hands‑on across key channels and ecommerce platforms
* Data‑led and results focused
* Experienced in managing budgets, teams and cross‑functional projects
* B2B, retail, office supplies or tech sector experience a bonus
