What You'll Be Doing
As a Weekend Evening Carer (4pm–10pm), you'll support older adults in their own homes during the evening. Your role will include:
* Helping clients with their evening routines — such as changing into nightwear and preparing for bed
* Preparing or assisting with dinner and light meals
* Giving reminders or support with evening medication
* Offering companionship and conversation to brighten the end of the day
* Helping with light household tasks so clients feel comfortable overnight
* Sometimes, simply sharing a friendly chat and reassurance over a cup of tea
Every visit is different. Some clients may need practical support, while others simply appreciate your company as the day winds down.
What You'll Need
* A valid UK driving licence and your own car
* Availability to work weekend evenings, 4pm–10pm (every weekend or alternate weekends)
* A caring nature, friendly personality, and good spoken English
* No previous care experience required — full training provided
