Typical shifts: 9pm–7am, Week 1 Wednesday and Saturday; Week 2 Monday and Saturday

Role overview
We’re on the hunt for genuinely caring, hands-on Support Workers with a passion for enhancing the quality of life of the people we support. As a support worker with us you’ll help people gain more independence in their daily lives, while working within a dynamic team to support a fantastic group of people.
Our supported living service Highfields in Caldecote is a welcoming and friendly environment. You’ll enhance the lives of the people we support by teaching them new life skills, assisting with personal care, encouraging them to access their local communities, socialising and doing activities. One day you could be out with the people we support in the community, going swimming or assisting with arts and crafts.
This is an amazing role for someone who wants to make a difference and help someone grow in confidence and independence to meet goals such as cooking dinner alone or going on holiday.
Responsibilities
* Support individuals to gain independence in daily living activities
* Assist with personal care where required
* Encourage and enable access to the local community and social activities
* Plan and participate in activities (e.g., swimming, arts and crafts) in the community or home environment
* Implement Positive Behaviour Support plans and reflective practice as required
* Work with individuals with autism, physical disabilities and complex care needs
