MAT COVER Supply Chain Customer Service Administrator
LDH (La Doria) Ltd are well established food distributors based in Ipswich, with a purpose-built office and a fully automated warehouse. LDH has over 65 years’ experience supplying major UK supermarkets and is recognised as a leading own label supplier of ambient foods sourced globally.
A fantastic opportunity has arisen for a Customer Collaboration Assistant to join the Supply Chain Team at LDH, based at our state-of-the-art distribution facility. Reporting to the Customer Supply Chain Lead, this role will be responsible for ensuring customer orders are processed and administered effectively, using existing processes and procedures while supporting our objective to provide a 100% service level in terms of Order Fulfilment, Delivery on Time and Product Quality. You will be the primary point of contact for our Customer’s Supply Chain team and will provide support and insight to the wider internal Supply Chain and Commercial teams. Experience in a similar role or academic work/studies in a related field would be advantageous but is not essential as full training will be provided.
* To administer the complete order cycle from receipt to warehouse.
* To provide support and interaction between the Customer (Supply Chain Analysts) and LDH’s operational departments (Demand Planning, Commercial, Customer Service and Transport).
* To liaise closely with internal customers (Supply Chain, Commercial, Warehousing) and with the 3rd Party Haulier.
* Using knowledge of our Supply Chain, make decisions when we cannot meet customer demands and communicate actions to resolve out-of-stocks.
* Responsible for controlling actioning incident reports received from 3rd party hauliers; identify cause and agree action to resolve.
* Daily reporting of vehicles delivered to each depot within the Customer Portfolio, including reporting on shortages and order counts.
