About the Role
As our new Service Director, you will:
* Provide strategic leadership across adult social care, promoting independence, inclusion, and wellbeing.
* Drive high performance, service improvement, and quality assurance across all operational social care and housing solutions functions.
* Strengthen integration with health partners, the voluntary sector, and wider community resources.
* Lead with compassion and clarity, ensuring our workforce feel supported, empowered, and connected to our shared vision.
* Oversee effective safeguarding arrangements and champion the rights, safety, and dignity of adults with care and support needs.
* Manage complex budgets with rigour, while seeking opportunities for innovation and sustainability.
* Play a central role in delivering our strategic ambitions for prevention, strengths based practice, and person centred care.
You will be a confident, credible senior leader who brings:
* Extensive experience in adult social care leadership within a complex organisation.
* A strong commitment to co-production and personalised approaches to care and support.
* The ability to balance strategic vision with operational grip.

* Deep understanding of legislation, safeguarding, performance frameworks, and the national reform agenda.
