Responsibilities
* Take ownership of month‑end processes, with a key focus on repairs & maintenance accounting.
* Produce and support the delivery of accurate management accounts.
* Provide technical accounting expertise across capital and development accounting.
* Act as a key point of contact for finance queries across the team.
* Support and guide colleagues where needed to ensure continuity and performance.
Qualifications & Experience
* Proven experience working within a social housing finance team (essential).
* Strong understanding of repairs & maintenance accounting within housing.
* Experience with capital/development accounting in a housing setting.
* Full ownership of month‑end processes in a similar environment.
* The ability to work autonomously and deliver in a fast‑paced environment.
* Current or recent social housing experience is non‑negotiable.
* A track record of stepping into roles and delivering with minimal supervision.
* Clear, demonstrable technical accounting capability (essential).
* Availability to start immediately or at short notice.
