Position Overview
Field Service Engineer. LE11, Loughborough. Salary: £40,000 - £50,000.
Working for a UK‑based specialist manufacturing business that supplies industrial automation machinery & systems. The role is newly created to support a growing order book.
Key Responsibilities
* Field Service Engineer, Service Engineer, Maintenance Engineer or Multi‑Skilled Engineer travelling to customer manufacturing sites across the UK.
* Provide technical support for industrial automation, packaging machines, conveyors, robotics or similar systems.
* Coordinate with onsite colleagues, subcontractors, customers and internal stakeholders.
* Assist in strengthening the Service team within a highly successful UK business based in the Midlands.
Qualifications and Experience
* Background in automation, machinery, packaging, conveyors, robotics systems.
* Technically astute (Mechanical / Electrical split) with good knowledge of manufacturing & production machinery.
* Experience in automotive, food & process, distribution, packaging or related industries.
* Strong leadership and communication skills – manage and coordinate multiple stakeholders.
* Mechanical or manufacturing engineering knowledge, qualification or relevant experience.
* Full UK driving licence and willingness to travel nationwide.
