Paraplanner role based in Hertford. Full time, hybrid. Salary up to £40k DOE, with superb benefits.
We are seeking a highly organised and detail-oriented Paraplanner to support our clients' financial planning team. This role combines paraplanning duties with administrative support, ensuring smooth client servicing and efficient back-office operations.
Responsibilities
* Prepare suitability reports, financial plans, and recommendations in line with FCA regulations.
* Conduct product and fund research, including pensions, investments, and protection.
* Assist in cash flow modelling and scenario analysis.
* Liaise with financial advisers to clarify client objectives and strategy.
* Maintain up-to-date knowledge of financial products and legislation.
Administration
* Manage client files and documentation in line with compliance standards.
* Handle new business processing, including applications and provider follow-ups.
* Maintain CRM systems and ensure accurate data entry.
* Schedule client meetings and manage adviser diaries.
* Respond to client queries and provide excellent service.
Skills & Experience
* Previous experience in a Paraplanning role.
* Strong understanding of financial planning principles and FCA regulations.
* Excellent written communication and report-writing skills.
* Proficient in financial software.
* Highly organised with strong attention to detail.
* Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines.
Qualifications
* Diploma in Financial Planning (DipPFS) or working towards it.
