We’re hiring a qualified Solicitor to join our Bradford-based team on a 6-month fixed term contract. This is a hybrid role, with an expectation to work from the office two days per week.
As part of the continued growth of our Legal Operations Team at Liberty Blume Business Solutions (LBBS), and as we go through an exciting period of expansion and change, we are looking for a number of qualified Solicitors to join our department.
In this role, you will be responsible for running your own mixed portfolio of pre- and post-litigated matters using a case management system and have access to some of the latest technology to help you in day to day activities, whilst being supported by a Team Manager and Senior Manager to ensure you continue to grow and progress in your legal career.
As part of your role you will also have the opportunity to work across a variety of areas including consumer litigation, property damage, network damage, employer’s liability, public liability, and motor claims. This multi-disciplinary exposure will enable you to broaden your expertise and ability to support multiple functions within the department.

What will you be doing?
1. Dealing with a portfolio of mid to high value claims across the Fast Track, Intermediate Track and Multi Track
2. Drafting, negotiating, and reviewing legal documents with precision and attention to detail
3. Preparing urgent applications where appropriate
4. Attending Mediation and settlement negotiations
5. Supporting with ad hoc queries from stakeholders
6. Conducting due diligence checks and preparing comprehensive reports in line with our clients’ expectations
7. Attending meetings with key stakeholders and third parties
8. Ownership of providing key insights and updates on matters to your Team Manager
9. Supporting junior colleagues by way of providing feedback and training
10. Staying abreast of industry developments, legal updates, and best practices
11. Building and maintain strong client relationships through exceptional service and communication
12. Participating in business development efforts, including client presentations, marketing and networking opportunities
We tend to look for people with:
13. Qualified Solicitor.
14. Excellent knowledge of CPR, case law and litigation.
15. A strong background in civil litigation, both Claimant and Defendant.
16. Excellent relationship-building skills, gaining client trust and understanding their objectives
17. Strong influencing and persuasive abilities, capable of engaging and convincing individuals at all levels. A willingness and aptitude to rapidly grasp and adapt to new legal issues, demonstrating confidence and agility
18. Strong communication, negotiation and stakeholder management skills, with the willingness and ability to support other team members at various stages of their career.
19. High levels of attention to detail, prioritisation and accuracy, through effective self-review, and critically challenging data inputs and explanations.
20. Strong problem-solving, analytical skills and insatiable curiosity, to get to the bottom of complex issues involving interacting processes and systems.
21. Ability to identify process improvement and automation opportunities whilst ensuring effective resource utilisation.
