Performance Marketing Strategist (UK) About Leaf At Leaf, our Performance Marketing team is central to the success of our clients’ businesses. We manage significant budgets, and the decisions we make directly impact growth, profitability, and long-term scalability. We’re not just media buyers—we’re strategic thinkers and problem-solvers. If something is repetitive or manual, we look for ways to improve, automate, or rethink it entirely. Curiosity, ownership, and collaboration are at the heart of how we operate The Role We’re looking for a Performance Marketing Strategist to lead strategy and execution across a portfolio of eCommerce clients. This is a senior, client-facing role where you’ll: Own performance outcomes across accounts Build and execute full-funnel paid media strategies Act as a strategic partner to clients, not just an operator You’ll work closely with internal teams across creative, data, and technical to deliver best-in-class performance. What You’ll Be Doing Strategy & Planning Develop full-funnel media strategies across Google & Meta (prospecting, scaling, retention) Build and manage multi-channel media plans aligned to revenue, ROAS, and growth targets Identify opportunities to scale spend efficiently while maintaining profitability Lead forecasting, budget allocation, and scenario planning Campaign Execution & Optimisation Oversee and optimise campaigns across Google Ads & Meta Ads Continuously improve performance through testing frameworks (creative, audiences, landing pages) Drive reductions in CPA and improvements in conversion rates Stay ahead of platform changes, trends, and best practices Client Leadership Act as the primary point of contact for clients Lead client calls, performance reviews, and strategic discussions Translate complex performance data into clear, actionable insights Build strong, trust-based relationships with stakeholders Cross-Functional Collaboration Work with: Creative teams on ad concepts, messaging, and testing roadmaps Technical teams on tracking, attribution, and data integrity Data teams on reporting and insights Contribute to improving Leaf’s cross-platform marketing methodolog y Essential Criteria Based in the UK 5 years experience in: A senior, client-facing paid media role Building and executing full-funnel campaigns on Google & Meta Working within a performance marketing agency Managing eCommerce brands spending £50k per month What We’re Looking For Strong strategic thinker with a commercial mindset Confident managing client relationships and expectations Deep understanding of eCommerce growth levers Highly analytical and comfortable working with data Proactive, curious, and constantly testing new ideas Able to balance big-picture strategy with hands-on execution Clear communicator who can simplify complexity Our Stack Marketing Platforms Google Ads, Meta Ads, TikTok, Pinterest, Snapchat, Amazon Ads Data & Analytics Google Analytics, Looker, Data Studio, Excel/Sheets, Shopify Tracking & Technical Google Tag Manager, Meta Pixel, Google Tag, Merchant Center Internal Tools Leaf Grow, Slack, Notion, G-Suite How We Work Remote-first, highly collaborative team Daily check-ins and regular client communication Monthly retrospectives to improve performance and processes Strong culture of learning, testing, and iteration Close collaboration across marketing, product, and engineering Why This Role at Leaf You’ll own strategy, not just execution You’ll work with serious eCommerce budgets and high-growth brands You’ll be part of a team that challenges how performance marketing is done You’ll have the opportunity to shape processes, frameworks, and ways of working How to Apply Submit your application with: Your CV Salary expectations A short summary of: Your experience managing £50k monthly budgets Examples of campaigns or accounts you’ve scaled Please provide 3 refferences
