Responsible to Group Operations Manager
Creative Gardens Cafes are famous for their homemade scones, desserts and traybakes. We are seeking an experienced and proactive Production Manager to oversee operations within our new Bakehouse in Newtownards. The successful candidate will be responsible for coordinating production activities, ensuring quality standards, product quality, food safety, and compliance are consistently maintained across all operations.
Responsibilities and Duties:
1. Plan, organise, and supervise daily production activities to meet output targets.
2. Collaborate effectively with off site Group Team and onsite Head Baker to meet overall production goals and maintain workflow continuity
3. Creating the weekly production plan
4. Coordinating orders from each café and shop location
5. Staffing rotas and labour planning
6. Dispatch coordination to 4 locations
7. Stock movement and inventory oversight
8. Labelling, allergen compliance, traceability
9. Ensure adherence to Health & safety procedures and HACCP plan
10. Equipment maintenance planning
Essential
11. Excellent leadership skills with the ability to motivate teams and drive performance
12. Effective communication skills to liaise across departments
13. Has at least one-year experience in a commercial production kitchen environment.
14. Available to work 5 days per week over 40 hours
Desirable
15. Previous senior role experience in a large-scale bakery or food production kitchen
16. Working knowledge of HACCP safety legislation
17. Have or be working towards Food Safety Level
