What will you be doing?
As Kent's second biggest branch in our group, Travis Perkins Tunbridge Wells are recruiting for a confident and charismatic HGV Class 2 Driver to support a busy delivery book. Completing our team of six drivers, within a wider team of 21 colleagues across the branch, you'll be our resident expert in your allocated vehicle as you complete up to 18 deliveries a day, often using the HIAB lorry-mounted crane - but don't worry if you aren't HIAB trained, we can provide this for you!
As a key part of our delivery fleet, including 12 tonne, 18 tonne, 26 tonne, and beavertail vehicles, you'll be responsible for the safe and professional transport of our stock from Tunbridge Wells North Farm branch to our customers' sites. Safety is key at our business, with approved SOPs in place to keep you, our team, and our customers happy, healthy, and high-performing.
Who you are
10. Requirements: You’ll need a Class 2 driving license, up-to-date CPC records, and 12+ months of driving experience.
11. HIAB experience: Don’t have HIAB experience? No problem! We’ll fund your HIAB training.
12. Customer-focused: You’ll be confident building and developing relationships with customers.
13. Safety-focused: You’ll prioritize safety in every aspect of your work, completing tasks in a professional manner.
