Senior Product Compliance Manager
We're looking for a

to join our clients Product team. This is a newly created role where you'll take ownership of product compliance, making sure their products meet all the right legal and regulatory standards throughout their lifecycle.
As part of the first line of defence, you'll work closely with product managers, risk & compliance colleagues, and external stakeholders such as regulators, payment schemes, and industry associations. You'll be the voice of compliance in the product space – ensuring products are designed with regulatory requirements in mind from day one, while keeping customer experience at the heart of what we do.
This role is ideal for someone who's confident working at the intersection of
regulation, product, and customer
, and who can strike the right balance between managing compliance risks and enabling product innovation.
What you'll be doing:
* Act as the compliance lead for the Product and Customer teams.
* Represent the business in all compliance-related matters, both internally and with external stakeholders.
* Work with product delivery teams to build compliance into product design and development.
* Lead and deliver product changes where regulation is the driving factor.
* Own and analyse regulatory scorecards, preparing content for both internal and external reporting.
* Conduct risk assessments across products and identify areas of potential concern.
* Use regulatory frameworks and data to find practical solutions that meet compliance needs while supporting good customer outcomes.
* Run data queries and analyse behaviour patterns to identify trends, risks, or unusual activity.
What we're looking for:
* Proven experience in product regulatory compliance – this is essential.
* Strong knowledge of FCA regulations, including Consumer Duty – also essential.
* Experience in e-money and payment scheme compliance would be a big advantage.
* Someone who can communicate clearly and effectively with both technical and non-technical audiences.
* Confident, with the strength of character to represent the Customer team on all compliance matters.
* An influencer – able to work with and challenge stakeholders at all levels.
* Analytical and detail-oriented, with the ability to use data to inform decisions.
* Highly organised, with the ability to manage competing priorities.
