We are supporting an innovative engineering organisation working on a major safety‑critical project. They are seeking multiple Test Development Engineers with strong experience in hydraulic systems to deliver structured test programmes across a range of environments. This is a deep-dive, engineering‑biased test development position, focused on data, rig configuration, analysis, and robust validation of hydraulic components and systems. Ideal candidates will have backgrounds from heavy machinery, off‑highway, test houses, automotive, or hydraulic OEMs. Key Responsibilities Plan, develop, and execute hydraulic test programmes including performance, endurance, pressure, leak, and functional testing. Specify and configure hydraulic test rigs, instrumentation, and data acquisition systems. Conduct development testing to support design validation, optimisation, and fault-finding. Analyse large datasets, identify trends, and provide sound technical conclusions. Produce detailed test procedures, reports, and engineering documentation. Liaise with Design, Commissioning, and Manufacturing teams to resolve issues and support product development. Contribute to design reviews, FMEAs, and qualification activities.
