Job seeker: A gentleman in his 70s residing in the GCG area of Neath Port Talbot. Diagnosed with mixed dementia, requiring support to access the community. Unsteady on feet, needs occasional support walking.
Job Requirements
* Driver with valid driver’s licence and own vehicle required.
* Patient and compassionate.
* Ideally experienced in supporting individuals with dementia.
* Willing to assist with walking as needed.
* DBS check may be required (cost covered by NPTCBC). If working with children, DBS compulsory prior to commencement.
* Two satisfactory references must be provided upon request.
* Subject to a 1-month trial period and up to 6-month probationary period.
* Wages paid on a 4-weekly or monthly basis once a valid National Insurance number is provided. Must be eligible to work in the UK; employer will conduct document checks.
* Annual leave and statutory entitlements provided. Details outlined in contract of employment.
* Personal Assistants Handbook will be issued upon commencement.
* Expected to attend any mandatory training identified as relevant. Training costs covered. Failure to attend may result in withdrawal of offer.
