Our client is a rapidly expanding, owner-managed group business based in Penrith. As part of their continued growth, they are seeking an experienced Administrator to join their dynamicmercial team on a permanent basis. This is a pivotal role within a fast-paced and well-regarded business. Reporting to themercial Director, you will support Quantity Surveyors and play a key role in ensuring the smooth management of subcontractor information, payments, regulatory documentation, and cross‑departmental coordination.
Your new role
1. Contributing to the accurate preparation and timely processing of subcontractor payments.
2. Maintaining precise and well‑organised records of subcontractor orders, certificates, and payment documentation.
3. Ensuring all subcontractor details remain up to date.
4. Submitting applications for roads, sewers, service diversions, energy provider registrations, and Openreach applications.
5. Managing the administration of permits, licences, and consents, including renewals and the submission of all required applications.
6. Supportingpliance activities by assisting with documentation and processes for relevant regulations.
7. Working closely with construction teams to ensure all required documentation isplete before property handovers.
8. Preparing accurate minutes and action points for meetings.
Full‑time position (40 hours per week) 8:00-16:30.
What you'll need to succeed
9. Strong working knowledge of MS Office including Outlook, Excel and Word.
10. Confidence inmunicating with a wide range of stakeholders such as subcontractors, suppliers and local authorities.
11. A professional, polite and well‑mannered approach.
12. Enthusiasm and willingness to learn new skills and processes.
13. Experience within the Construction industry is desirable but not required.
