Job Title: Electrical Maintenance Specialist
This is an exciting opportunity to join our multi-disciplined engineering team at the 20" Pipe Mill, Hartlepool. As an Electrical Team Member, you will provide first line technical expertise to our manufacturing areas.
We are looking for someone who has completed an electrical apprenticeship or possesses a recognised electrical maintenance qualification (NVQ or similar). The ideal candidate will have a background in heavy engineering manufacturing and excellent interpersonal skills.
The successful candidate will be responsible for assisting the engineering team in carrying out preventative & reactive maintenance, continuously maintaining Health, Safety & Environmental standards, ensuring safe working procedures are followed, providing first line technical expertise and knowledge to identify and rectify faults to minimise plant downtime, suggesting and implementing improvements to process control systems through collaboratively working with relevant peers.
This position will operate on shift pattern working 12 hour Days and Nights, 2 days, 2 nights and 4 days off.
Key Responsibilities:
• Assist the engineering team in carrying out preventative & reactive maintenance.
• Continuously maintain Health, Safety & Environmental standards, ensure safe working procedures are followed.
• Provide first line technical expertise and knowledge to identify and rectify faults to minimise plant downtime.
• Suggesting and implementing improvements to process control systems through collaboratively working with relevant peers.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
• Completed electrical apprenticeship or recognised electrical maintenance qualification (NVQ or similar).
• Background in heavy engineering manufacturing.
• Excellent interpersonal skills.
