Physical Education (PE) Teacher – Full-Time, Long-Term
Location: Rickmansworth, Hertfordshire
Salary: £34,398 – £46,839 per annum (dependent on experience)

A dynamic secondary school in Rickmansworth is seeking a motivated and enthusiastic PE Teacher to join their team from February 2026. This full-time, long-term role involves teaching PE across Key Stages 3 and 4. It is perfect for someone with a passion for sport and fitness, who enjoys working with young people and can inspire them through energetic and engaging lessons.
Key Responsibilities
* Deliver high-quality PE lessons to KS3 and KS4 students
* Plan and lead a variety of sports and physical activities
* Promote teamwork, participation, and healthy lifestyle choices
* Support extracurricular activities, including after-school clubs and fixtures
* Collaborate with colleagues to support student progress and behaviour
* Monitor and assess student performance, providing constructive feedback
What We’re Looking For
* Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) – preferred but not essential
* Experience teaching PE at the secondary level
* Strong classroom management and communication skills
* Solid knowledge of a range of sports and fitness disciplines
* Passion for promoting physical activity and student wellbeing
* Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to apply)
