Warehouse Team Leader
Location: Waltham Cross, Herts
Contract Type: Permanent
Shift Pattern: 5 over 7 (including weekends), 45 hours per week
Shift Times: 9am–6pm (flexibility may be required)
Salary: £31,000 - £33,500 (depending on experience)
About the Role
A family-run business with a proud history is looking for a Warehouse Team Leader to join the team. This is a hands-on role where leadership, organisation, and energy are key. You'll be leading a team of 20+ warehouse operatives, ensuring smooth operations and keeping everything running like clockwork.
What You'll Be Doing
* Leading, motivating, and supporting a team of warehouse operatives
* Managing absence, probation periods, and agency staff usage
* Working closely with the Operations Manager and senior management to improve performance
* Identifying training needs and supporting staff development
* Producing reports and ensuring processes are followed
* Driving improvements and best practice across the warehouse

* Strong background in warehouse operations with experience across multiple roles
* Proven leadership skills with the ability to motivate and inspire a large team
* Excellent organisational and communication skills
* A proactive approach to problem-solving and process improvement
