Job Description
On behalf of our client, we are looking to recruit an experienced Legal Secretary for a busy Commercial Property Department.
You will provide typing support to the entire team, with duties progressing to include assisting with all stages of a commercial transaction, from initial enquiry to completion.
Ideal candidate will:
* Have excellent secretarial, administrative, and IT skills, and be open to working in a largely paperless environment.
* Have experience working as a Legal Secretary within a property team, with experience of commercial property transactions.
* Be self-motivated and able to work on their own initiative, as well as within a supportive team.
* Have excellent client care and communication skills (verbal and written), with the ability to build and maintain long-term professional relationships with clients and colleagues.
* Have an excellent telephone manner and be able to communicate effectively through all mediums with clients and third parties.
* Be able to work efficiently and accurately under pressure.
* Assist with ensuring files are compliant with internal procedures and processes, Lexcel accreditation, and general secretarial duties.
