About the Role
This role partners with the CEO to oversee the Integrated Business Planning process across all departments at Grainger & Worrall. You’ll coordinate key monthly meetings, gather insights, provide business performance narratives, and support strategic decision-making.
Responsibilities include:
* Coordinating the integrated business planning process to link sales forecasts, product launches, operational capacity, and governance.
* Preparing and consolidating reports and presentation decks for monthly leadership meetings.
* Collaborating closely with cross-functional teams including sales, marketing, finance, and manufacturing.
* Monitoring business metrics and providing clear narratives to support leadership decisions.
* Supporting the CEO with follow-up actions from meetings and business initiatives.
* Taking ownership of change projects that improve operational performance and align with growth strategies.
* Developing your commercial understanding of manufacturing operations and business processes.
Requirements
We welcome candidates who have:
* A degree in Business, Manufacturing, Engineering, or a related discipline.
* Strong interpersonal skills with the confidence to engage with senior stakeholders.
* Good numerical and data handling skills with an ability to spot trends and simplify complex information. Proficiency in PowerPoint and report preparation.
* Tenacity, energy, and a proactive approach to problem-solving and ability to work independently and manage competing priorities.
* Applicants should reside within a reasonable commuting distance of Bridgnorth, Shropshire, as relocation assistance is not available for this role.
* A valid UK driving licence is required
