Computational Design Engineer Oxford £45-65k + Excellent Benefits We are looking for an experienced Computational Design Engineer with strong expertise in parametric and computational design to support an innovative product development team. You will be responsible for designing optimized structural and thermal components, tailored specifically for manufacturing processes, and driving solutions from concept generation through to detailed CAD designs and final production. Collaboration with simulation, manufacturing, and process engineers will be essential to ensure design feasibility and performance. Responsibilities Design and engineer complex, high-performance components Develop advanced parametric and computational models utilizing tools such as Rhino and Grasshopper, and nTop. Propose rapid and innovative design concepts addressing specific customer requirements. Refine and finalize designs through detailed CAD modelling and iterative optimization. Collaborate closely with manufacturing, simulation, and process engineers to ensure designs meet DFM and performance criteria.
