The Role
HireGiant are currently seeking a reliable and experienced Class 2 RoRo (Roll-on Roll-off) Driver to join our growing team. This is an excellent opportunity for a motivated individual who takes pride in delivering a high standard of service and safety.
Key Responsibilities for the HGV 2 RoRo Driver
* Operating a Class 2 RoRo vehicle for the delivery and collection of skips/containers
* Safely transporting waste and materials to and from customer sites
* Carrying out daily vehicle checks and ensuring roadworthiness
* Providing excellent customer service at all times
* Completing relevant paperwork and complying with company procedures
* Adhering to all driving laws and health & safety regulations
Requirements
* Valid Class 2 (Category C) Licence
* Valid Driver CPC and Digital Tachograph Card
* Previous RoRo or skip experience preferred (training can be provided)
* Good knowledge of local routes and road networks
* Strong work ethic and punctuality
* Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Hours & Pay Rates for the Class 2 Driver (PAYE):
Monday to Friday shift pattern - 05.00-06:00am Start
Shift Length - 10-12 hours
£15.00 - 17.08 per hour PAYE - (Monday to Friday)
