Assistant Quantity Surveyor
A well-established construction and civil engineering contractor is seeking an Assistant Quantity Surveyor to join its commercial team based in Somerset.

Key Responsibilities
* Assist with the management of project costs from inception through to final account.
* Support the preparation of valuations, variations, cost reports, and forecasts.
* Help manage subcontractor and supplier accounts.
* Assist with procurement and commercial administration.
* Monitor project expenditure and support cost control activities.
* Work closely with project managers and site teams to support successful project delivery.
About You
* Degree qualified, studying towards, or interested in pursuing a qualification in Quantity Surveying or a related discipline.
* Previous experience within construction or civil engineering is desirable.
* Strong numerical, analytical, and organisational skills.
* Proficient in Microsoft Excel and other Microsoft Office applications.
* Excellent communication skills and a proactive approach to work.
* Keen to learn and progress within a commercial role.
