As an iOS Software Engineer III at JPMorgan Chase within the International Private Bank, you will be a key member of an agile team responsible for designing and delivering trusted, market-leading technology products in a secure, stable, and scalable manner. Your role involves executing critical technology solutions across multiple technical areas to support the firm’s business objectives.
Job Responsibilities Implement software solutions, design, develop, and troubleshoot technical issues, thinking beyond routine approaches to resolve complex problems.
Create secure, high-quality production code and maintain algorithms that operate synchronously with relevant systems.
Develop architecture and design artifacts for complex applications, ensuring design constraints are met through software development.
Analyze large, diverse data sets to develop visualizations and reports that support continuous improvement of software applications and systems.
Identify hidden problems and patterns in data proactively and leverage these insights to enhance coding hygiene and system architecture.
Contribute to software engineering communities of practice and explore emerging technologies.
Promote a team culture of diversity, equity, inclusion, and respect.
Required Qualifications, Capabilities, and Skills Formal training or certification in software engineering concepts and demonstrated practical experience.
Extensive experience with frameworks such as UIKit, Core Data, Cocoa design patterns, and iOS development with Swift.
Practical knowledge of iOS platform security features including Keychain, Certificate Pinning, Data Protection APIs, and Encryption; experience building reusable libraries, frameworks, and APIs.
Experience with SwiftUI, Combine, and Async/Await.
Hands-on experience in system design, application development, testing, and operational stability.
Proficiency in one or more programming languages.
Experience in developing, debugging, and maintaining code in large corporate environments using modern programming and database querying languages.
Understanding of the Software Development Life Cycle.
Solid knowledge of agile methodologies such as CI/CD, Applicant Resiliency, and Security.
Knowledge of software applications and technical processes in disciplines like cloud, AI, machine learning, or mobile technology.
Preferred Qualifications, Capabilities, and Skills Experience with CI/CD tools such as Jenkins.
